Classic black and white meets whimsical Moe Moe layering. Stacked with two different size outline circles and a bold, black accent on top, this earring is visually pleasing and very attractive on any ear! And if that doesn't sell you... it's actually many earrings in one. Slide your shapes on and off the hoop to layer them however you please or wear each piece individually.
Wear these with your hair pulled back and let them shine!
ABOUT MURDIE MORRIS:
Murdie Nampijinpa Morris was born in the 1930s at Rabbit Flat, a tiny settlement in the middle of the Tanami Desert in the Northern Territory of Australia. Her parents would have taken her out bush in the Nyirripi area, showing her sites and teaching her the traditional ways of her country.
Murdie began her journey into painting when she attended a workshop in 2012. She enjoys painting her father’s Jukurrpa, Maliki Jukurrpa (Domestic Dog Dreaming) and Malikijarra Jukurrpa (Two Dog Dreaming) – Dreamings that have been passed down through generations and relate directly to the land, its features and the animals and plants that inhabit it. She uses an unrestricted palette to develop a modern interpretation of her traditional culture.
Murdie has been painting with Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation, an Aboriginal owned and governed art centre located in Yuendumu, since 2012.
ABOUT MOE MOE DESIGN:
Moe Moe Design earrings are lovingly crafted from start to finish in our Currumbin, QLD studio. Our small, powerful team all contribute to the creation of each earring by drawing, cutting, building, product testing and wearing (the fun part!) each design until it’s just right.
Moe Moe Design is the capsule wardrobe of earrings: flip them to plain silver, swap your studs to hooks, or stack other Moe Moe pieces together to build something special for any outfit.
