JENNY SHEWARD-SPENCE | JELLURGAL

Jenny Sheward-Spence is a proud Bidjari woman from the Kunja Nation in central Queensland. She is currently a University Lecture with an emphasis on First Nations Studies and Creative Arts.

Her Artwork represents 5 generations of family history and show the passion she has for families to connect and build relationships. All funds raised from Jenny’s art sales goes to charities devoted to Education and family support networks, here in First Nations communities and overseas.

About Jellurgal:

Paradise Dreaming was authorised and established by the descendants of the Kombumerri and Ngarang-Wal (Nerang River) people situated at the base of Burleigh Head National Park (which the Traditional Custodians call Jellurgal).  Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre incorporates guided tours and an art gallery.
